QUESTION: How do I loads fonts into this program on a PC?

ANSWER: download the font
save it to desktop
Go to your documents and settings menu
double click on the fonts icon
drag the fonts from you desktop to the fonts dialog box.

Followup question-I did what you said above, but once I am in InDesign, I can't find that font.  Am I missing something?

You might have to restart both your computer and Indesign, just so that it registers. If doesn't work after that, the font might not work. Some free fonts are wonky like that - especially if they are a few years old and you don't get them from an "official" free font site, like dafont.com
