Adobe InDesign/path type

Question
why is the type path showing up under my type after i make a pdf? The path is white, the type is colored; why isn't it transparent?

Answer
A. because Indesign is newer than your pdf viewer
B. because you added an effect somewhere in your document (a shadow, something is less transparent, rounded corners)
C. Because it's cloudy outside. (no explanation)

The good news is that it doesn't print out...and your printer has seen this problem before. And the person who is going to view it, probably won't see them either - especially if they are on a PC. It's just something in Adobe's PDF viewer. (try it in another program and you'll see they are not there). Sometimes, if you export in a different version of pdf, that makes them go away.
