Adobe InDesign/Dark InDesign pdf's

Question
I was just wondering why an exported PDF out of InDesign comes out much darker than the original file?  Even exported JPEGS come out looking normal, but PDF's are always dark.  Any help?

Answer

Pdf Export Output Colo
Hi Brandon,

This is likely due to color conversion to a device profile that doesn't match your working color space.

Check the Output settings in the pdf export style that you are using.
Try using one of these settings (see image). You can also try changing the working color space under Edit -> Color Settings to better match your output device, in this case your monitor.

Thanks,
