Question
I'm drawing a blank. How do I create a caption for photos in a book? In the past I drew (T) a box on the pasteboard and typed in the copy, then just moved the box into the book page. When I try to do it now, the box just disappears from the pasteboard before I can type the caption. My brain has forgotten something!

Answer
Hi Linda,

You are doing it correctly, the program may be set in preview mode or have hide text frames turned on. Once you have dragged out a box start typing, the text should appear.

You can try making the box on the edge of the page or go under the view menu and select show text frames.

Hope this helps,
