Adobe InDesign/fonts
Expert: Candice Anderson - 8/13/2009
QuestionI need to download a font to InDesign and use it in word as well. Someone sent it to me --but all I could do was print it and I couldn't cut and paste, etc. The font is Persimmon (true type). I think your fonts are free to download? I'm working on a project and may need to download several fonts, so I'd like to find a site that will have them free.
Thanks
Dinah
Answerhmm...
Are you asking two questions? Here's the answers to what I think you are asking ;)
To install the font for all programs
Windows:
Start
Control Panel
Fonts
Drag the font you have into the dialog box for fonts.
Done. In order for it to be seen in your programs, you may need to restart them.
Mac:
double click on the font
press the install button
it will open font book and you are done. (if nothing changes, it means you already have the font).
Are you also asking for free fonts? I highly recommend www.dafont.com. EXCELLENT SITE.
If I totally missed your question, feel free to ask again.
Candice ;)
