Question
QUESTION: Hello,

It has been some time since I used Indesign  and I have forgotten how to make the text flow to the following pages. Please explain. Thank you VERY much in advance.

ANSWER: Hey there,

So, make sure that you can see the text box. On the lower right corner you'll see a red square. Click it. You should see your curser turn into a text box looking thing. You can now place the text on any page you want by clicking the page you want it to go in. You know it worked because, well, you'll see the text, and because you'll have a blue arrow on the side indicating that the text box is linked to the other one.

QUESTION: Hello, I have a report sent to me in PDF form that uses foot notes (a little 1 or 2 that is raised after a word and is in italic). When I copy the information into word and then copy into Indesign it comes through as a regular 1 etc. where in indesign do I make the change? Many thanks!

Answer
hello again,

1. I think you can just paste the words from PDF to Indesign, should you want to.

2. Yes, highlight the numbers that you want small, look at your control panel and you will see your text options. (Square with "T"s in them). One of these squares has a bit T with a little T on top of it. Click that. If make a mistake, just click off of it.

Let me know if you don't see it. I don't have Indesign in front of me right now and I might be way off in telling you where it is. When I get back to the computer with Indesign I'll correct myself if I need to :)
