Adobe InDesign/Disappearing Text

Question
When I place my text box into a frame the text disappears. When I move it away from the frame it reappears. I've tried "arrange - send to back on the frame" to no avail.

You might have text wrap enabled on a nearby object. To prevent this from happening on your text frame, select it with the black arrow and go to the object menu > text frame options. Inside the text frame options, select the checkbox "ignore text wrap".
