QuestionI'm trying to print a page in indesign where i need to have a picture going to the
end of the page, i have it set up in indesign as that, but when i go to print it, it
cuts off some of the picture and leaves a white border. I've tried many things,
but nothing seems to work. You're help would be appreciated.
AnswerHi Shawn,
What you are trying to do is "bleed" an image off the page, a fairly common process, see this page;

This is accomplished by setting up a bleed margin in InDesign, more on that here:
http://www.bestprintingonline.com/indesign.htm#bleed
The second part of getting images to go off the page is to print on an over-size sheet and trim it to final size after printing. Some desktop printers will allow you to print to the edge on some sides but others will create the white border in areas where it can not print. Check your printer manual to find out the maximum sheet size it can accommodate and the maximum image area it can print. You can then adjust your document to fit these parameters.
Hope this helps,
