Question
When I copy text and place in in this particular Indesign 2 doc. the text does not take on the format of the previous type, while this works in other documents. Why am I having trouble with just this one document?
Eh, this actually a pet peeve of mine as well. The only way I've found to fix it is to choose your type that you want to use, before pasting you copy.
Also, have you used character styles? Learn how to use them and your problem will go away :). (choose window character styles).
