Adobe InDesign/Booklet Prints

Question
Hi Ken,

I just stumbled across this Web site and I hope you can help me out.

Okay, I have to do a booklet because I'm in Twin Cities Youth Leadership and I stupidly volunteered to do it. The upside: I get credited for 8 hours of community service, and I have to have 20 by next month so it's a big deal. Plus I'm in high school and colleges love that stuff.

Back to the booklet. How do I get Microsoft Word 2007 to print it front and back? Like so page 1 is on the front, page 2 is on it's back, page three is on the opposite side of page 2, and page 23, i think, is on the back of page 3. I tried fiddling with the printer and started looking it up when I stumbled across this site. I hope you can help me!

Answer
Hi Bethany,

What you are trying to do is known as imposing the book in printer spreads.

Microsoft refers to this as print booklet.
