Adobe InDesign/InDesign Page Sizes

Question
G'Day Roy,

1. Finished trim size is 1500mm X 6000mm.

Issue is that InDesign can only create a maximum size of 5,486.4

At the moment I am working with two pages side by side at 3000mm
1.If I can't create this on the one page do I scale by 50%? 25%? or something else?
2. What is the standard practice others use when working with large formats i.e Billboards, or large signage like myself.

Thanks for your help Roy

Answer
Hi Kerrilee!

I haven't done a billboard myself, but from everything i've read online, you should check with the company doing the printing. Usually you will scale everything down by a given amount. Someties it's a percentage, sometimes it's a ratio like one inch equals  one foot.
