Thank you for your assistance.
The client I consult requires the use of Helvetica Neue and we have developed some page templates using this font. I have advised them to purchase InDesign so that we can update files, if necessary. Is it necessary to purchase Helvetica Neue in addition to InDesign? This font is not on their computers but someone I work with was told it is "already installed" in InDesign. I'm not sure. Can you clarify. Also, in case relevant, my client works on PCs.

Hi Amy,

Helvetica Neue is not included with InDesign. for a list of fonts included with the CS4 package see here: http://blogs.adobe.com/typblography/2008/09/cs4_fonts.html

Helvetica Neue is included in the Mac OSX fonts installed with the system, but is not included in Windows software packages. It may be purchased from Adobe, Linotype or other software vendors.
