Adobe InDesign/Printing problems

Question
I'm trying to print labels from an Indesign template to a Xerox Phaser 7760.  My labels are off about 1/8".  When I move them within Indesign, they still print in the same place.  When I adjust the printer margins, the right 1/4" is cut off.  This printer is capable of a 1/8" margin.  Xerox is telling me that this is an Indesign problem....Settings: printer margins calibrated, print position in Indesign: centered.

Answer
Sometimes it helps to set up a custom page size. You do this by clicking "Page Setup" in the lower left corner of the Print window. When the Page Setup window opens, select your printer in the "Format For" drop-down and click the "Page Size" drop-down menu and select "Manage Custom Sizes."

From there, click on the "+" symbol to create a new custom page size. Name it how you like. Now alter the page margins to be as wide as you need them. you'll notice that at least one of the margins is too large by default.

To use your new setting, you must select it in the "Paper Size" drop-down menu in the "Page Setup" window.

I hope this helps!
