Question
HI
I've got cs3, and after I got a new printer driver(system has been updated on the printer, new version)the problem comes. When I'm using special printer features(duplex etc.) nothing happens, standard settings where used, but only on all my old jobs. If I copy the hole document into a new it works fine.
Any ideas
Best regards
Henrik

Answer
Hi Henrik,

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your problem, but you are not alone. A lot of people have experienced printer problems with older documents in IDCS3.

Some of the solutions are to open older documents via InDesign Interchange, File>Export>Interchange (.inx) This may be faster than copying documents into a new file. Try making a preset instead of going straight to print. Select the proper paper size instead of default. Try a new preferences file. Try loading the Install discs and using the repair option for CS2, instead of an entire uninstall/reinstall.

Some people on Wondows XP have had success by uninstalling Windows Service Pack 3.

You may contact Adobe but their primary concern will be to sell you CS5 or blame the printer software.

Sorry I couldn't be more help,
