Adobe InDesign/pagemaker to indesign

Question
Hi Glen,

Its Naveen again. I am facing one more problem these days.
Pls. help me.

When I am converting a pagemaker document into indesign CS3
the inline
graphics such as math type equations are getting bigger a
little bit. Pls.
tell me how can I get exactly the same size inline graphics
in indesign?

Answer
Hi Naveen,

If the links to scaled graphics are broken in PageMaker, the graphics will come out a different size in InDesign. Open the documents in PageMaker first and make sure all the graphic links are up to date and all the fonts are loaded, then do a "Save as...".

The most common problem I've encountered with opening PageMaker documents in InDesign is the loss of tracking values causing some type to reflow, perhaps it's this type reflow causing the graphics to come in at different sizes.

Hope this helps,
