Adobe InDesign/Selecting Text

Question
I feel like I must be missing something...Is there a way to select multiple pieces of text that are not adjacent to each other?  I want to select multiple sections of text and apply the same paragraph style to them, but I need to highlight and apply the style separately for each selection.  For example, in Word, CTRL +Click selects as many different words (non adjacent) as you'd like.  I can't figure out how to do that in InDesign.  Is there a trick??

Thank you,
Melissa

Answer
No, not exactly ... however this solution might be helpful:
1. Select the eyedropper tool
2. Click in a paragraph that has the desired style applied
3. Then click on another paragraph with the eyedropper to apply the same style to that paragraph
4. Just keep clicking on more paragraphs as many times as you like to apply the style

Of course that only works with whole paragraphs.
