Adobe InDesign/Save In Design file to high res jpg

Question
I have many clients, as well myself at times, who use In design to create their pages.  The page will be sent to press for hard print and needs to be saved as a High Res jpg.  Many times the page appears to be saved at a high resolution, but in fact, it is not.  What is the best way to save these files to retain the high quality images?

Answer
Hi Teresa,

Before exporting your page as a jpeg, make sure all your links are up to date and the links themselves are high resolution.

InDesign and Illustrator don't do a very good job of exporting to jpeg. You'll have more control and better results if you export pdf or eps files out of InDesign and open them in Photoshop, Then save jpegs out of Photoshop.

Hope this helps,
