Adobe InDesign/Upgrade from cs2 to cs5

Question
Hi Glen: I have upgraded and can't open my cs2 files in cs5. The files appear with a "lock" sign on my desk top when I try. I am running os xp.
Thanks
Keith

Answer
Hi Keith,

I didn't know CS5 would run on Windows XP. The lock files show you that the InDesign file is in use - you may have it open in CS2 on your machine or if it's on a server, someone else may have it open.

The lock file icon should disappear when the file is no longer being used and this will allow you to open the file.

Hope this helps,
