Question
Hi Glen

Please excuse my ignorance - I am a self-taught InDesign user. I am currently using InDesign CS3, and would like to know if there is a way to make the graphics on the master page sit on top of the rest of the page-by-page content, rather than underneath. Google hasn't helped me with this search so far!

Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Amelia

Answer

Layer.png
Hi Amelia,

On your master page add a second layer and put your master items on it. Then in the layers palette, click on the lock to lock the second layer. This will prevent you from adding stuff to the second layer when building your document.

Work on layer one and all the master items will stay on top.

Hope this helps,
