Adobe InDesign/Formatting 4 lines of text quickly
Expert: Mehdi Saharkhiz - 6/8/2011
QuestionThe company i work for does grocery ads. We have about 100 product descriptions in each ad that are 4 lines made up of different sized and weight text. Like the first line is regular or light, the 2nd bold, the third light (but smaller than the 1st) and the 4th line is the same as the third. I have been playing with nested line styles, and paragraph styles trying to figure out a way to quickly format these 4 line without have to individually select each line and change it manually. (we do a lot of copy and paste across the board, but each ad is formatted a little differently). Is there a way where I can copy a text box consisting of 4 lines, and use a paragraph or nested line style to quickly format it... without having to use forced line breaks (shift+return). That is the only way I have found to do so, but nobody else wants to use forced line breaks..... I hope you can understand this. Thanks in advance
