Adobe InDesign/Deleting unused SPOT colors

Question
Hello Candice - I am an ID newbie and am trying to figure out how to get rid of old spot colors that are hanging around in the Output Preview palette. If I change a spot channel color in PhotoShop and relink the updated .tif in InDesign CS, it "keeps" the old spot color, which I don't want anymore. How do I get rid of that? Thanks, it's driving me nuts!

Answer
hey there,

so a buddy and I talked about this, and we don't know what an output preview palette is ( we are also tired) are you talking about the swatches palette?

If yes, all you have to do it move the color to the trash can that is at the bottom of the palette.

Candice.
