I am working on a newsletter in InDesign. I have received advertisements that go into this newsletter and they come in PDF format. I was exporting one specific page to see how it looked and one of the pdf ads that was part text and part picture came up only with the text. The picture just disappeared. It shows up fine if I open the ad just as a pdf and it shows up fine if I place it in InDesign but it disappears when I export it!

I'm going insane and have a deadline coming up. Any idea what is going on here and how I can fix it?

1. print it out and see what happens.  Sometimes viewing pdfs are finikey and they'll be fine when you print them

2. do you have shadows or transpernecys are anything like that? Take them off.

3. export it to a lower version of a viewer. then try exporting it to a higher one (its worked, i have no idea why..)

4. are all of your links ok? make sure you don't have the warning sign asking where your links are.
