QuestionI did print directly out of InDesign. I also printed a PDF out of InDesign and
the logos didn't show up, just the shadow too. The links seemed to be fine.
Used the exact same links on the other file that printed perfectly. Hope you
can help? Just stumped.

-----Question-----
I had 2 files from a customer and 1 printed correctly and the other didn't and
I
can't figure out why. I had a logo in illustrator and was brought into InDesign
and they had a drop shadow on it in InDesign. The drop shadow printed and
the
logo didn't in all the places the logo appear. Used the same logo on the other
file and printed fine in all the places. Can you help?
-----Answer-----
did you print it from the .pdf?
if you did, sometimes, shadows are not liked in .pdf. Try printing from
Indesign.
Make sure all the links are ok.

Answerreally?
I hate to say it, I have no idea.
A couple of silly thoughts, maybe they will work...
1. Delete all of the logos and put them back in. sometimes that works, I don't know why.
2. make sure that there isn't any white blocks or hinderences that are near the logo (like you didn't randomly make a box for some reason)
3. Take the shadows off and save that file as something else, then try printing, I'm still thinking it's a shadow issue becuase sometimes the logo prints and sometimes it doesn't.
Let me know how this turns out...
