Adobe InDesign/InDesign - Images

Question
Some, but not all, of the images I am placing in my layout are appearing "pixalated" on my monitor and then completely broken up after printing a draft of that page.  What could this possibly be? Thank you.
Nick

Answer
1. Look at the dpi on these. Pull them into photoshop and go to image, image size. If they are less than 300 dpi, that's why.

2. Have you made these pictures bigger? That's not a good thing to do.

3. If the photos are OK, take a look at your links bar.  (window links) see if your links are ok.  If they aren't you'll see a yellow triangle or red circle.  This means that Indesign isn't finding your links and you need to relink.

Good luck, I hope one of these work!

Candice :)
