Expert: Candice Anderson - 7/25/2006
QuestionHi Candice,
I have a problem, which need to be fixed. I get Indesign Pages that are designed by editorial team. I need to convert the Indesign page to PDF, for this I use the export option. But for Some pages I get the .log file telling that the pdf could not be created.
I refered to some materials thro the net and found that the pdf lacks compilance. pl suggest me some factors so that I would be able to inform our editorial guys to develop better pages.
Please tell me the reasons for it and the remedy.
The log file says the "<PDFX ISO="15930-3:2002" COMPLIANT="false">

Answerhi there,
without actully looking at it, I can't tell you, but it seems like the main problem is that your files are using rgb color. You must be in cmyk. All they have to do is go back and make their photos in cmyk. However, that shouldn't stop the .pdf from being exported. The only other thing is that the pictures were not carried over correctly. Did they give you all of the pictures?
