Question
Hi

I have made a document in Indesign with a table with text within. I then
placed pictures on top of the table (not in it). I can print directly form this and
all is good however when I export to PDF some of the pictures disappear and
don't make it into the pdf document. This is nota problem for pritning as I
can print from the ID but I wan tto be able to email the document out..I have
used this process before and this is the first time it has happened. I am in the
process of messing about with the export settings but am drawing a blank so
far. Any thougts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Kit

Answer
hi,

I would say that it's because adobe pdf doesn't recognize some of the neat and wonderful things that Indesign does, but it's there...but if you've never had a problem before with the same task...hmm...

I had a doc that did this one time. I had to go in, delete the pictures, and put them in again and it worked fine. I don't know why, it just did. ;)

If all else fails, save as a .eps or a .jpg. Not the best res, but it works.
