Adobe InDesign/Problems printing graphics w/ drop shadows

Question
I am having a problem with printing InDesign CS files converted to PDF. On some printers the PDF files have a dark box around it. For example, if I have a blue circle with drop shadow, the printer prints it as a dark square. I use PDF verions 6.0. Don't know if I explained the question clearly. Thank you.

Answer
there's not much you can do...

it's like this.  Adobe makes there programs with things like drop shadows and transparencys before the printers and whatnot have adapted to handle them.  Most of the time, when you export the shadows don't work.  However, if you print from the file, its usually fine.  If you are taking this to a printer, package your files and give them that.  You can also try saving it to 7.0 pdf.
