How do I find the special characters?

you have to change your keyboard settings.
i don't know how to do this in MAC (even though I own one :) ) I would assume it's unders the settings

in windows got to go cntrl panel, keyboard, and change to spanish. you'll then get all the signs you need. when you're done, just switch back over.

there could also be a font installation that you can find online so that you don't have to redo your keyboard.
