my indesign freezes on start up. I have CS2. I recently installed some fonts and
thought that there might be a conflict there so I ran a font cleaner. Do you have
a list of fonts that may cause indesign to freeze. I once had to remove univox
font to get it to work, but now I have 400-500 fonts and don't know where to
start.

i don't it's the fonts either. I'm assuming your on a mac, as mine did that at one time too. You need to update both quicktime and your adobe files. Trust me, for some odd reason, this works :)

a way to look for bad fonts is to open up an microsoft office program. They really don't like bad fonts and won't open until it tells you EVERY bad font you own. If these programs open up just fine with no warnings, then you don't have a font problem.
