Question
Hi,
Ive designed a brochure which when I upload it to a site for commercial printing is showing fine thin lines around many placed objects and text boxes.
These lines do not show on my monitor or my own printed proofs! I designed in In design cs-flattened files and uploaded to bureau as pdf's. Thier proofs are showong these lines on theie online proof as well their printed proof.

There are no strokes or any borders around any of items in question.
Cant figure it out.

Answer
I would say don't worry about it - as this happens when you are using differnt versions of acrobat - but if it's printing the lines, that's weird.

try these:
Save a .pdf for a lower version of acrobat

save as a .pdf then open it in photoshop and save it there as a .pdf again.

this is probably the easiest way - just give the printer your indesign file with everything packaged. That way they can just print from the original.
