Adobe InDesign/How to lay out a magazine in IDCS2

Question
Hi! I'm designing a magazine to use as my first portfolio, and I don't know whether the rule is to make the whole magazine a single IDCS2 document with, say, 70 pages, or rather, each magazine section should be an IDCS2 document and then I would put them all together in a "book" file? I'm lost.
Thank you very much for your help and attention!

Answer
thats so funny, my boss and I were have this conversation (arguement) today!

You'll hear good and bad things for either option.  If you know how to use CS2 really well, go for the seperate files, then turning into a book option.  I don't reccommend it, without instructions and a lot of patience at least, if you aren't a regular user.  Basically what you would do is create all of your documents in seprate files.  Then go under file, new, book.  you would then add you pages in the box that pops up. The good thing about it is that it will keep your stuff in order and if its a little easier when you organize your character styles. This is a good option for those who have the expensive printer who will put the book together for you. When you get the high paying job at the magazine (good luck!) You'll probably make books this way.

Personally, I like taking the longer, but easier way in making the whole book one document.  It's easier to deal with and the local printers like that better.

Either way, don't forget to ask your printer rather or they want readers or printers spreads.

have fun, and sorry for the long answer.;
