Question
I created a postcard in InDesign and converted it to a pdf before sending to an online print house.  When they sent me my viewable pdf proof, there were many small white ghost lines scattered around the image.  Is it something I'm doing wrong, or something their doing wrong?

Answer
Hey there,

Ya, these lines are evil, as my printer friend said, they are there to make fun of graphic artists and scare them :).

My guess is that these lines came about becuase you are on a differnt interface that the printer is.  I used to get these all of the time when I would use mulitple computers for a project.  I don't know why this happens.

However, they don't print out.  I would call the company just in case to make sure that they are ok on their end.

ah, printers :)
