Adobe InDesign/Getting rid of boarders

Question
Hi Candice,

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I am a new user to In-Design.  I am doing up a brochure, A5 size and wanting to get rid of all the boarder, margins and gutters so that it is flush with the edge of the paper  I have done that by making everything 0, but when I go to print there is still about a 2-3mm boarder around my design. I am printing on a A4, I really don't want to be cutting around all the edges of the brochure.  What am I doing wrong or how should I set my page up apart from when creating the initial document?  Any help would be so great!  Thanks for your time.

Answer
hey there,

I'm not really sure what sizes A4 and A5.

But it sounds like you have boarders around your objects.  Make sure that the objects are set to no color.

Or, are you talking about a white boarder, like it's not printing center?  If this is the case, when you go to print, choose set up and press center.  That should take care of that.

Also, while in print, check the crop marks tab and make sure those are off.

If I'm really off, please explain a little more and I shall try again :)

Candice:)
