I use Adobe Pagemill for the three sites I own. I`ve been a webdesginer for close to a year, and have used Pagemill as the primary webpage editor. I know how to create pages in Pagemill and how to upload them as well as add HTML scripts to the pages.

Question
Marie, I just need to know how to get my pictures from the file on my harddrive to my ISP server.  I have space on the server, I have the address, I have the pictures in JPG format.  I am trying to eventually post them on auction sites.  Thanks.

Answer
The process is uploading & what you'll need to do is get what is called a FTP program. Your ISP should have information about how to go about this, but here's how you do this.

First get the FTP program. You can go to a site like tucows.com to get this. second, you'll need to configure the program to the settings of your ISP's server. In this part, you'll want to check with your ISP for the FTP settings, but most of them are like this:

Host: ftp.yourprovider.com
User (or UserId): your ISP user name
Path: Usually this is just a /
Password: your account's password

Also, if you have a program like Frontpage or Dreamweaver, you can configure those programs like what I demostrated above since they both have built-in FTP capablities.
