I use Adobe Pagemill for the three sites I own. I`ve been a webdesginer for close to a year, and have used Pagemill as the primary webpage editor. I know how to create pages in Pagemill and how to upload them as well as add HTML scripts to the pages.

Question
Hi Marie,
I am totally new to creating web pages. There are so many programs out there to accomplish this task. Do the page creation products sold independently offer significantly more options than using Yahoo templates and what are the main options one would desire?
If you new nothing of HTML or programing to build a page, what would be your preference for user friendly software to deliver professional appearing web pages?

Thank you!
Mike Eidson

Answer
As intimidating as the program looks, I would recomend Dreamweaver. It has a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, however, its expanded features can create the most professional looking pages. Plus this is the indstury standard for creating websites.

If you can't afford this program (it's rather pricey), a second-best would be FrontPage. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that Dreamweaver has, but it does serve its purpose.
