Adobe Photoshop/2 photos side by side

Question
Hi John,

What I want to do seems like it would be simple, but I don't know how to do it.  I have PhotoShop 7.0, and I just want to put 2 different photographs side by side to make one big photograph.  Like a split screen... you know how in movies they show one person on the phone in one place, and another person on the phone in another (showing that they're talking to each other from different locations)?  Well, that's sort of like what I want to do, but with photographs.  Is there a way to fuse two pictures together in PhotoShop?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Sandy,
if i get you right,
one of the way which this could be done is:
> Creat a new file with the actual size,
> Make sure the file's DPI is thesame as the two images that you have
> Drag the images into the new file, move the images to where you what it to be.
Hope this will help,
regards,
john
