Adobe Photoshop/New to editing

Question
HI
I am a grandma with 10 grandchildren.

I have seen photo's you can have done where a child has been placed into a flowerpot,or had the wings added etc.

I would really like to have a go myself but don't want it to look tacky, there is nothing else at the moment I want to do with a programme so just simple and basic.

I have been told that adobe photoshop could be my answer but which one?

After much searching I feel it better to ask the question,as I don't want to spend loads of money on something I don't need.
Many thanks in advance.

Regards Pearl

Answer
Hi Pearl,

I would recommend Adobe Photoshop Elements. It is easy to use and doesn't have a lot of the complexity of the full Adobe Photoshop. You can do cut and pastes with photos and create fun things with it. Plus its only $99 versus $799 for the full application.

Thanks and have fun!
