QUESTION: Hello!
I have made a bunch of different business card designs in photoshop and used an avery business card template for sizing.  But when i go to print them out the design is all outside the borders.  Amy i doing something wrong in photoshop?  '

Hi Cara,

I think I got your question right. If I have the right template then I know how I can help you. I downloaded the template called c_377_us0_biz_10psht_port.doc, this came down once I dowloaded the template you got off Avery's website.

I have available a Photosmart HP 6150, that should be pretty close to what you have as well. I noticed the same thing happened when I started to print the first test. I was surprised! Then I repeated the steps by selecting the preference menu once the printer dialog box opened. I made one change, I simply switched back and forth a printer. Then selected the HP 6150 to print, and amazingly the cards came out right. Once again I was surprised! I tried this several times and it worked fine as long as I jiggled switching back and forth with the printers. Is your printer a PhotoSmart HP?

Try this out, if it works or not please let me know, we might have to consider another possibility. Sounds like a printer software problem and not photoshop related but I will still be willing to help you out Cara.
