Question
QUESTION: ONLY when opening Adobe CS2 I get a message telling me my monitor is faulty and I should re-run monitor calibration s/ware. Model E177FP G2.2 D65
I have spoken to Dell and they say there is no calibration s/ware and that there is a bug in CS2.
Can you Help?

ANSWER: I have never experienced this problem with monitor calibration software, nor have I heard of bugs with CS2 regarding this.

Have you tried connecting to another monitor?

I would search for any kind of calibration software on your PC and try turning it off. Adobe Gamma (located in your control panels) is what Adobe would use.

QUESTION: There is no s/ware on my PC. I am using XP if that helps.

Thanks any way

Answer
Sorry, I am out of answers.

I am unaware of any conflicts with CS2 and "monitor calibration software". I would go to my control panels and double check the Adobe Gamma Correction and run that wizard.

I would still double check to make sure that something was not downloaded without your knowledge.
