QUESTION: Hi, i have recently upgraded to CS2 from V7 and am having problems  when
trying to save as to pdf to send to the printer.  i have always done with without
any problems, but it is shrinking the physical size of the image but not the
resolution.  I have tried various options such as no compression etc but nothing
works, I would appreciate any advice you could offer

ANSWER: Hi Sharan,

This is a setting in your printer's software. Somewhere in the page layout or paper size menu look for a fit to page or reduce/enlarge to fit button and uncheck it.

QUESTION: Thanks foryour reply Glen, but I am not sending it to my print, I upload the
PDF to our printers server, somethin happens between the saving from PSD
CS2 to PDF

Hi Sharan,

Unless you are scaling the image, PDF's are made at the same size as the original document since they are not constrained by paper sizes. The resolution of your image may be affected. In the pdf options under compression change bicubic downsampling to keep resolution.
