Question

strike up the band
I am new to photoshop and need to seperate this picture for screen printing and the colors are faded in some areas can you help?

Answer
Hi Dawn,

You can try the magic wand to select that area, use a tolerance of 12 or higher at first and also under select try similar and grow. This will give you a hard line selection of the grey color.
Or you could try a posterization. Go to image>Adjustments>Posterize and experiment with different settings. This will bring your image down to a manageable number of colors.

Hope this helps,
