Adobe Photoshop/Replacing colour in photoshop

Question
I would like to replace all of the solid white in an image with solid blue. When I use the Image>Adjustments>Replace Color option, I only succeed in replacing the white with grey, even though I have the Result color in the Replace Color window. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Your advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Answer
Hey Astrid,
you will not be able to change the colors of white and black using 'Replace Color' option.
So here you might wanna use magic wand to select the white area and fill blue colour. Ideally filling on a different layer is better, so you can change the blend modes later to see which one looks best.
