QUESTION: Hi Kevin!  I am having difficulties with "fuzz" around my text that I created in
Illustrator, copied it, and pasted it into Photoshop.  On my monitor there does
not appear to be any "fuzz".  I am creating a photo-book (Shutterfly) as a gift
when I ask my girlfriend to marry me and I really want to have clean, crisp
photos and my text using Bernhard Fashion as opposed to using the fonts
offered by Shutterfly.  Any help is appreciated.

ANSWER: Hi Stephen,

This has to do with PS rendering your type based on the resolution. Make sure the PS doc is set to a high enough res (300 dpi) and then import using file place.

QUESTION: My PS file is set at 300 dpi.  The only time I actually see the fuzz around the text
is when I view the file on Shutterfly.com  Could it just be what I am seeing on
their website?  I have not gone to print, but won't get any type of proof before I
do so. Is there another way to get the Illustrator text into PS besides
copy/paste?

Hi Stephen,

If you go to file>place that is the preferred way to bring in an ai file into ps.

If you are just seeing the fuzz on their site, it is probably because they are showing you a lo-res preview. You really won't know until you print.
