Question
I did this using photoshop 7 with a quick mask and radial blur a couple of years ago. Now I dont remember how I did this.

Here's the picture that I did.

If there's a tutorial on this? I couldn't find it.

Thank you,
Randy

Answer
Hi Randy,

I have seen similar projects such as yours and have done some myself. It's a nice effect you have going on there. I know of a much simpler way of doing this effect with similar results rather than using the Quick Mask.

I went ahead and opened the image, duplicated the image Menu>layer>duplicate layer. Once highlighted the copy layer, I renamed it. With the layer still selected, I went to Menu>Filter>Blur>Radial Blur, once the Radial Blur window pops up, I selected the Amount and sat it to 100, Blur Method: Zoom, Quality: Best. Once completed this I selected the Eraser Tool and selected my Master Diameter to about 158, this depends on the project, and erased the middle part. This can be done with the quick mask as well. It all depends with which tool you feel more confortable with.

Let me know if it helps, if not you can always come by again.
