Adobe Photoshop/removing outlines

Question
Hi there, sorry this is probably a really basic question, but I just can't figure it out!  I have an outline map of the UK. I've filled the map with a solid colour.  Now I want to remove the black outline, and just be left with the solid colour in the shape of the map.  I'm sure there's an option to set the eraser tool to only remove selected colours, but i can't find it!!!

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Answer
Hi you have two option to do this.

1. use magic wand tool (press W from keyboard)

2. make a small selection of the color you want to be selected, go to SELECT > SIMILAR. repeat if the area is not perfectly selected. once the correct area is selected, press delete from keyboard.
