Adobe Photoshop/adobe distiller

Question
not sure if you can help, we have adobe distiller 5.0 i think is simple question. when we distill from a tiff in photoshop to distiller,  the size comes out smaller than original tiff. i think there is a simple solution in distiller to get it to distill to exact same size. any help would be great !

Hi June,

First, you should be using one of the presets when distilling from PS that solves a lot of problems.

When you say the size is smaller, do you mean the image is smaller or the memory size is smaller?

If the image appears smaller after you distill, you may want to check your resolution in your PS file (Image>Image size).

If the file size comes out smaller (a 2mb file is now 200 k). This all depends on what preset you use. The largest pdf is created using press quality, the smallest - smallest file size.
