Question

hi..
the question in my mind is , how can i copy the background of a foto and use it for another pic, without any change in the background...For exammple,the first pic below with seal, i want the same pic without seal, like i want to remove seal from the very same pic and place some other animal there or no animal.

hi,

copy your layer with the seal
turn one layer off, it's just for backup
on the other, use you stamp tool and your marquee tool to select the snow around the seal to cover him up.

when you use the stamp tool, hit the stamp tool on your tool bar, press alt and click the snow near the seal. Then mark on the seal.

when you use the marquee tool, select a piece of snow, copy and paste it - making a new layer, then move that piece on the seal. Repeat until the seal is covered. Then use the stamp tool to make it more legit - not blocky.

When you are all done, go to layer, flatten, to make it one layer again.

If this doesn't make sense - get a book that teaches you photoshop (as your asking a hard question if you've never used it before) or find another picture that you don't have to take the seal out of.
