Answer
Hi Arti,

What I can do is point you in the right direction. Creating a webpage from Photoshop is very easy, coming up with a good design is the hard part. Since you are just starting out, I would highly recommend you pick up a copy of the Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a Book. This will give you step by step instructions on how to develop and create web pages correctly in Photoshop.

My other recommendation is to get a copy of Dreamweaver (if you haven't already) you can take your PS created HTML and add your codes, etc. in a clean environment instead of just using a text editor.

As far as designing a good web page, my advice would be to keep it clean and keep it consistent. Use a maximum of two sans-serif fonts (arial, helvetica, etc.) and do not go for all the bells and whistles up front. Walk before you run (into an ugly spot). Start simple in the design and as you learn, then add more.

Good luck!
