QUESTION: hi kamal. i just started using photoshop cs3, the problem is that: i prepared a 1000 px by 1000px layer, used black to white gradient and used render>difference clouds several times. then i used an elliptical marquee then use render>distort>spherize, the spherize function is not available.how can i use spherize? im trying to make a glowing red object, a tutorial i found in the internet. thanks.

Do you mean, the spherize option is not active. Or you dont get the desired effect?

QUESTION: good day, what i meant was the spherize option isnt available or cannot be used.

Hi ted,
Check if your document is in RGB mode. If not change it by going to the top Menu Image>Mode>RGB Color (If asked ".....flatten image before mode change?" select 'Don't Flatten')
