Adobe Photoshop/300dpi in Photoshop

Question
I understand how to create a 300dpi picture, but is there any way to turn an already existing file to 300dpi?

Answer
You can always change the dpi, by going to Image> Image Size... and change the Resolution field.

But if the existing image is very small, then increasing the resolution will not help, it will further blurs the image.
It is advised to create an image at 300dpi at the first.
